presents annual Applause! Awards
In keeping with
a more than four-decade tradition, the Farmington/Farmington Hills Chamber of
Commerce took time out to
honor some of its most outstanding members during its
recent Applause! Awards dinner at Andiamo restaurant in Novi.
BEST PLACE TO WORK -This award was given to Salon Legato, an Aveda concept
salon located
in downtown Farmington, for being dubbed by its employees as a
great place to work.
In
a nomination letter signed by 15 employees, Salon Legato was called more than a
place to work; it was called "a home, a place where its employees are free
to make mistakes which allow them to grow ... where the tools you need to
succeed not only in your career, but in your life, are at your fingertips ... a
group of women who take care of each other ... a team in the truest sense of the
word."
The award was accepted by salon owner Diane Cassidy.
